Peter Bridges

Peter acts as the Bridges Insurance Services Independent Board Chairman and has had a long career in Chartered Accountancy including as Managing Partner of Staples Rodway Waikato from 1999 to 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Waikato, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Directors.

His accounting career involved provision of accounting, tax and general business advice to a diverse group of clients. In addition, he undertook specialist work in relation to business valuation and the provision of expert evidence.

He is now a professional director and is Chairman of a number of privately owned companies including Bridges Insurance Services. The other companies are involved in text book publishing, engineering for the food processing, packaging and pharmaceutical industries and sawmilling and timber products manufacturing.

He also has a board role with a milk testing laboratory and continues to be associated with Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Waikato.
